The American Advertising Awards Greater Frederick Chapter meets annually for an award ceremony celebrating local creatives. Each year the ceremony is given a unique theme, which is reflected in the event branding and decor. We had the honor of creating the 2014 collateral and decided to take it in the direction of 80′s heavy metal. After crafting the logo in the shape of a guitar pick, we art directed a special photoshoot featuring the club’s president and event co-chairs. From there we applied a glam rock vibe to all event marketing materials including the Call for Entries and event invitation (complete with actual 45 records), website, event posters, social media graphics, programs and more.
